Paintings for Charity
In Autumn 2008 I travelled to South Africa as a volunteer with the Niall Mellon Township Trust in the role of team site foreman providing proper housing for shack dwellers.

I was completely taken aback by the poverty I witnessed there and made a commitment there and then to return on an annual basis to support this worthy charity and have returned annually since.

This year I am taking an additional volunteer along and I am trying to raise funds through the sale of my paintings to assist in this regard.

All the paintings shown are for sale and we will consider any offers in excess of €100 for any unframed paintings and any offer in excess of €200 for any framed paintings. Naturally the larger and more detailed paintings would necessitate a higher offer. Paintings that have sold fetched between € 150 and € 450 to date.

All cheques should be made payable to the Niall Mellon Township Trust. I am happy to donate my time and the materials used in producing these paintings free of charge.
